DeeAnn Bragaw, women’s ministries director for North American Division (Washington DC metro area), served most recently as women’s ministries director and prayer coordinator of Rocky Mountain Conference (Colorado). Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, she has also served with her husband Paul in Caspar, Boulder, Franktown Brighton, and Campion. She began her duties in the summer of 2021.
Assistant Director
Erica Smith
One of my greatest desires is to empower young women to have the tools to make wise choices in their relationships, recognizing that the choices they make now will impact them for their entire lives.
Erica Smith serves as the assistant director of Women’s Ministries for the North American Division. She is passionate about reaching young women with the message that they are “loved and seen” and offers free, confidential mentoring via the department’s “gorgeous2god” platform. Erica also dedicates time to providing education on abuse prevention and response through the NAD’s enditnow initiative.
Erica received her undergraduate degree in English from Southern Adventist University, after which she accepted a position in the General Conference Youth Department as an editorial assistant where she served for four years before transitioning to NAD Women’s Ministries. Erica is a licensed therapist and holds a masters degree in professional counseling from Liberty University.
Erica lives in Maryland with her husband, Gavin, where she also co-manages an animal rescue and spends time with her own pets, Boots, Max, and Lily.
